Power Automate is Microsoft's tool for automating repetitive tasks and processes — without needing a developer. You can automatically route requests, send notifications, trigger follow-up actions, and connect data across the tools your organisation already uses.
Like Power Apps, Power Automate is already included in most Microsoft 365 and Office 365 plans with cloud services — including Microsoft 365 Business Basic, Business Standard, and Business Premium, and Office 365 E1, E3, and E5. No extra licence required.
This project: Automated approval workflows for educational administration
I designed and implemented a set of automated approval workflows to handle different types of administrative requests - such as programme changes, external learning validation, and intake requests. Each request is submitted via a form and automatically routed to the appropriate approver through Microsoft Teams. Depending on the outcome, different actions are triggered automatically: notifications, follow-up messages, and administrative processing. The result: less manual coordination, a consistent process across multiple scenarios, and a clear audit trail — without anyone having to chase approvals manually.
