Power Apps is Microsoft's low-code platform for building custom business applications - without needing a developer. You can create interactive forms, data entry tools, approval flows, and more, all connected to the data you already work with in Microsoft 365.

What many organisations don't realise: Power Apps is already included in most Microsoft 365 and Office 365 plans that include cloud services - including Microsoft 365 Business Basic, Business Standard, and Business Premium, as well as Office 365 E1, E3, and E5. No extra licence required.

This project: Elective selection for business management students

I designed and built a Power App to manage elective selection for business management students at a university of applied sciences. The app guides students through a structured selection flow with conditional logic - showing only valid options based on previous choices and remaining capacity. Data is stored in SharePoint, and PowerAutomate triggers an automatic Teams notification for every submission, enabling manual registration in an external system. The result: less manual coordination, better data accuracy, and real-time visibility of available spots.
